Skin that shows indications of redness, inflammation and welts is considered to be reactive. Skin reacts to an internal imbalance in function, most commonly transepidermal water loss.
Skin is the largest organ of the human body. It is designed to regenerate and protect us from the external environment and has excellent regeneration qualities.
Reactive is the effect of an imbalance in internal processes. The skin needs to return to homeostasis-the ability to regulate physiologically, to ensure stability in response to fluctuations in the outside environment. Simply calming the reactivity will not restore the skin’s optimal function.

Understanding the Aerolase Laser
Aerolase is one of the newest medical aesthetic skin laser treatments designed to address a wide range of dermatological concerns. It uses a 650-microsecond pulse duration that is less than your skin’s thermal relaxation time. The skin has time to naturally cool itself between pulses to eliminate the risk for burns and/or changes to your skin’s pigment. This allows us to correct concerns with unprecedented precision. In contrast, other lasers that emit longer pulses cause more heat retention within the skin; this effect increases discomfort and makes treatment unsuitable for certain skin tones and types.
The penetrating energy of the laser also works to boost collagen production which can help your skin look radiant and younger-looking.Cosmetic treatments like lasers give collagen a fresh start. They trigger fibroblasts and likewise stimulate new collagen production. This means subtle but significant changes to your appearance like:
- Smaller pores
- Plumper contours
- Tighter and firmer skin
- Improvement of fine lines and wrinkles
What to expect?
- Painless, no peeling, no downtime
- Fast results with a noticeable difference in just one treatment
- Safe on all skin types, even sun tanned skin
Aerolase NeoClear is a Short pulse, 1064 nanometer laser that penetrates deep into the dermis to rejuvenate and revitalize skin.
